Police Team

Congratulations to the winning team! Last year on September 11, the Louisville Metro Police went head to head in basketball against the Louisville Firefighters in the fourth annual Patriot Game.

The game was exciting – and the teams had help from Honorary Coaches Denny Crum for the Police and Scott Davenport for the Firefighters.  The Fire won in an exciting contest of skill and determination!

Don’t miss the next match coming Tuesday, September 11, 2007!

This year will be another “Rematch” since the score is tied at 2 games each!

The game raises needed funds for The Healing Place, Kentucky’s largest homeless shelter addiction recovery program. Come support your local police and firefighters!

Check out the results of this friendly rivalry year after year for the police and fire departments – it’s been a close call almost every time.

Scores since the games began in 2003:

Game I     Police 70 Fire 67
Game II    Police 82 Fire 80
Game III   Fire 77 Police 70
Game IV Fire 86 Police 61

Come out and support the teams!
